As much as I would love to update my Chictopia account with as many things as before, there isn’t time for that any more. School has been really really hectic. Although I’ll be posting couple of outfit photos (I forgot to post it here!) in the next few days.
1st: School outfit. I love the background! It’s located at the ground floor of my college.
2nd: 1st page of my croquis book. We were asked to do a collage about our style. Mine’s eclectic! I used watercolor, acrylic, poster, B pencils, felt tip pens and cut-outs from magazines.
3rd&4th: I drew it while waiting for my brother to fetch me at Starbucks. Lol

Hi Uglies!
Its that time of year again. The time when we can all wear sandals! I call itSUMMER SANDAL TIME, (catchy, right?) Im here to give you a little help on whats cool this summer, and whats a no, no, no.
No
First off, let me just point out the obvious. No flip flops! Nope. Nada. Nothing. Dont argue. Anyone can wear flip flops. It takes a true master to step away from those plastic thongs in search of something more.
Gladiators
Easy solution! Gladiators. Im wearing gladiators right now. Theyre freaking awesome, dudes. Pair these with summery light dresses like hessica didor with a crop top like sunshinelady and farsprinsesse . Gladiators go with everything.
Do the Weave
If gladiators arent your style, opt for a simple woven sandal. It adds a little flare. I also love the look of leather, and leather woven sandals are the bomb. MsJulian did a simple woven sandal with a cardigan and shorts. Basically anything is possible. Just like the gladiator, you can wear these with just about anything you think of.
Need more ideas? Here are a few more chictopians who know not to wear flips flops. 1 2 3 and 4
Until next time, live long and prosper,

I prefer so-called ex-Undercover by Jun Takahashi
Obviously,he was inspired by Rei Kawakubo and Martin Margiela,
but he always can translate something elegant into undercover language:
freak,strange.ugly,sick,childish and horrible………………but beautiful
The Blazer from undercover collection “T” is reconstructed with 4 tees into my favorite——deconstructionism

Hey chictopians… I had a pretty good weekend and hope you all did as well :)
Thanks to everyone who votes and comments on my photos, it’s very much appreciated :D
This is an outfit from last week, I went shopping with my younger sister to get her a Formal dress. The equivalence of a Formal in Australia is the Prom :P except I think it’s more casual here :D The dress we ended up getting was really cheap from Myer, and it’s more like a party dress so she can wear it again :D
On to the outfit…
Actually everything in this outfit was thrifted except for the stockings and sunglasses! :D hehe… You can’t really tell but the dress has little gold flecks all over the material :)
I’m wearing two pairs of stockings again!! The pair on the outside actually came with the ripped/ laddered looking parts already there. You can see from the detail it’s all very neat and symmetrical.
The stockings underneath are much more interesting! I actually received and used them about 4 years ago when our Theatre class performed Macbeth!! I was one of the witches :P and the ripped stockings were part of my costume.
Since then i’ve worn them a couple of times, for example to dress-up parties, when I dressed up as a punk and I purposely ripped them even more :D But I’ve layered them underneath and I think it looks really cool when you look closely, but it’s not tooo trashy for just going out shopping. Though I still got lots of weird looks at my legs! :D
